Only Human

I was disappointed to see that Tony Evan’s, TV evangelist is resigning due to a past untold sin. How many people who idolized him will now give up? I sure some but he is just a man. A man born with a sin nature. This is why we should never idolize and man for any reason. Children should be taught not to idolize singers and celebrities. They’re just people.

Nothing wrong with following preachers, keeping in mind that they are only as good as they allow God to work in their lives. Paul, David, Peter, Moses, they were men who got it wrong but then got it right! Everyday of life is a decision to surrender to God and choose to follow Him through Jesus Christ and don’t think Satan won’t come and hinder you, steal from you, wreak havoc in you! I know and I’m ordained! There are days I don’t feel like pressing on, but on those days God carry’s me.

We don’t know what Tony Evan’s did, but I know he’s had it very hard for quite some years, as death knocked on the door of his home. No matter what he did, I know he’s just a man, saved by the precious blood of the Lamb, and I know during this tough time, the Lord is carrying His wounded lamb.

Life is hard and growing more so for everyone. Let’s show mercy and love to those under attack and throw a rope down into their pit. You would want the same I’m sure!
