Your Blood Line

You know the story, you've read it surely, how Israel was taken into captivity because of sin and released 70 years later.  But during that 70 years, they didn't repent before God.  No, they lived like the world, lived like their captors.  The men took wives from among the "Cannatines", further destroying the possibility of the Savior coming, for He could not come though a genetically polluted, corrupted line.  Ezekial 9:1-4 tells the story and how distraught Ezekial was when he heard these things.  I know how he feels.  With every down fall of a preacher I hang my head.  But what disturbs  me even more, is when I see the body of Christ, voting their pocket book, instead of their beliefs.  I started seeing that in my 20's.  Now I see followers of Christ accepting the homosexual and transgender lifestyle.  All of which are an abomination to God.  A plan of Satan, just as in the days of old, to corrupt God's beautiful design and corrupt mankind, so that all will side with him against God in the Batte of Armageddon.  The final battle for control of the world.  
 
Christians feeling like they can't win, so they hang their heads, and join in.  Just like the Israelites of old.  Losing their very souls in the process, the souls of their children and grandchildren, for they are not to be looked up to nor respected.  Instead of being stalwarts of the faith, forever standing for Truth, a bulwark against the sin coming agains their families, they simply cave, and doom their families from any hope of victory over sin.  
 
"And said, O my God, I am ashamed and blush to lift up my face to thee, my God; for our iniquities are increased over our head, and our trespass is grown up unto the heavens." Ezra 9:6
 
What happened after Ezra humbled himself and prayed in repentance for the sins of his nation?  A remnant repented.  The men even put "away" their Canaanite wives, and their half breed, Canaanite children, in repentance and obedience to God.  
 
"Now therefore let us make a covenant with our God to put away all the wives and such are as born of them, according to the counsel of my lord, and of those that tremble at the commandment of God; and let it be done according the the law." Ezra 10:3
 
Gave up their wives and their children for the Lord, because it was such a grievous and evil thing.  Yet today, we embrace all that is grievous and evil to the Lord.  We sit in churches that promote evil against God.  We put our children in evil institutions that hate God.  How can we expect God to do anything for us when we are clearly defying Him, and going against everything He said and created? Five centuries later the Messiah came through that blood line of repentance. What will happen with yours?
