He NEVER Stops Working
"Ye shall defile also the covering of thy graven images of silver, and the ornament of thy molten images of gold: thou shalt cast them away as a menstruous cloth; thou shalt say unto it, Get thee hence." — Isaiah 30:22
Israel had sinned grievously, once again turning their backs on God and looking to Egypt for help — trusting in worldly strength instead of their divine Deliverer. But even in their rebellion, God never stopped working. He never gave up on them. And He never gives up on us.
He’s always calling us back. Whispering to our hearts: “Don’t give up… I’m still working. I’m still moving.”
This passage may point to the millennial reign, when Israel as a nation will finally turn back to God after the tribulation. But even now, God is working in every individual heart. And when you say “yes” to Him, the transformation begins — not by your effort, but by His power.
He changes your mind.
He changes your heart.
He changes your thinking.
He changes your desires.
Before you even realize it, you’ll look at the things that once held you captive and declare with boldness: “Get thee hence!”
That’s the power of God’s grace — He makes you not want sin anymore. He rewires your soul to crave righteousness. And the idols you once clung to? You’ll cast them away like worthless rags, because He NEVER stops working.
So if you’re weary, if you’ve wandered, if you feel stuck — remember this: He’s still working. He’s still moving. He’s still calling.
Let Him do the work. Let Him change you. And watch the chains fall. Blessings and breakthrough are coming if you seek after Him.
