Do you Weary?

Do your weary of prayer requests? Everyone has one, and sometimes they drag on and on, if you know what I mean.  Maybe you don’t remember those days, and I’m sure the mega church does not even offer a public prayer request time, but I remember. Prayer requests, opened in a public forum can go so long that there’s no time for preaching.

Do you see prayer as the opportunity to bring someone, even someone you don’t know personally, and have the confidence to know that their Maker hears you on their behalf?

Do you understand the magnitude of prayer? I say not, for it’s hard to get anyone to come to a prayer meeting! A true time of nothing but prayer? Interested?

Without prayer we would be stumbling about blind in a very wicked world that is seeking to destroy every one of us! Prayer is far greater than giving a blind man an eye transplant, or throwing a drowning man a life preserver. Prayer is walking hand in hand with the One who made you and sees your beginning and your end. Prayer is calling on the One that can change even the most horrible, the most horrific circumstances. No wonder there are no atheist in foxholes!

Find prayer now, before you’re desperate for it and others are too lazy to do it for you!
