What Are You Into?
What are you “into”? I won’t list all the things because I don’t want to pick on anyone or one particular thing, but we all know what we’re “into”. I see “into’s” ruling peoples lives! They can’t read their Bible because of their “into”, they can’t go to church, because Sunday is a big day for their “into”.
There’s nothing wrong with being into sports, or hobbies, unless it has become all you can think about. All you ever want to do. All you talk to your kids about. All that consumes your every waking thought. Everything in perspective.
I guarantee you, when you get to heaven or hell, where every you choose to go, based on your life and your commitment to the Messiah, you won’t care one iota about your sports or your hobby.
Love the Lord with ALL your heart. “Lord, do I love what I’m “into” more than You?”
Seek FIRST the Kingdom of God. “Lord, am I seeking You before going after my “into”?
Those two questions answered honestly will give you a good insite into you and your “into”. If you find your not where you need to be, tell Him you failed the test and to help you get your “into” into perspective. Your eternity depends on it!
And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: Deut 28:1
