Numbers 10 is God giving Moses instruction on making two trumpets of silver in order to call the people to break up camp, to call just the leaders to assembly and last but not least, to call the people to battle an enemy.
Vs 9 When you go to war in your land against the enemy that oppresses you, then blow an alarm with the trumpets, that you may be remembered before the Lord your God, and YOU SHALL BE SAVED FROM YOUR ENEMIES.
The trumpet is mentioned all through the Bible but the most glorious is this one:
In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last TRUMP: for the TRUMPET shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 1 Cor 15:52
The first trumpet was for protection and favor. The last trumpet is for protection and favor.
TRUMPETS sound, the angels sing, listen to what they say. That man will live for evermore because of Christmas Day.
