Bottom line is that it does not matter the sin. It does not matter the addiction. It does not matter the behavior. It all has its root in SELF, just where Satan wants every one of us! For SELF leads to death.
What ever we do in life, we are to do it in communion with God. Yes! Talking to God daily. Seeking Him. Asking Him questions. Separating ourselves from anything in the world, in community, in culture, that will divert our attention from Him. He is the life, He said of Himself. Not community, not belonging, not culture. Paul said, "What is not faith is sin," Rom 14:23. It's a sin because it separates you from God! The world seperates you from God, for it is under the rulership of the enemy of your soul. Why do we throw our children to the wolves and expect different results? If it’s not of God it will not reap your family good results.
We reap what we sow. Gal 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
There it is folks! The bottom line. You are where you are because we were born seperated from God. We are born in self-conflict. Born where none of us truly belong. No wonder the world is in turmoil and then we participate in it, to our own demise.
