Laugh

One of the things Isaac did when he grew up was to open the wells of his father Abraham. Wells that had been stopped up by their enemies (see Gen 26:18). The very name Isaac, the one who caused the wells to flow again, means “laughter.” I think we may draw from this story the idea that laughter and joy in the Holy Spirit will open the deep wells of life inside us - wells that may have been stopped up by the enemy through depression, discouragement, or disappointment. Go ahead and laugh; and let God’s joy bubble up in you right now!

May the God of your hope so fill you with all joy and peace in believing (through the experience of your faith) that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound and be overflowing (bubbling over) with hope. Rom 15:13 AMPC

Blessings
