Speaking of the Spiritual

Speaking Of The Spiritual

But the natural, non-spiritual man does not accept or welcome or admit into his heart the gifts and teachings and revelations of the Spirit of God, for they are folly, (meaningless nonsense) to him; and he is incapable of knowing them (of progressively recognizing, understanding, and becoming better acquainted with them) because they are spiritually discerned and estimated and appreciated. 1 Corinthians 2:14.

I’ve been told by a teacher that his students say they don’t believe in God and they don’t believe in the Bible and they are longing for the mixture of man and machine. This is scary! They are spiritually dead in sin.

The natural mind is one that has not been enlightened by the Holy Spirit. The Bible calls this “carnal”, which simply means “fleshly”. God is not carnal. He is aware  of flesh and works within the boundaries of flesh, but He is spirit and moves in realms beyond the flesh, and so can we, in Him.

God expects those who are born again of the Spirit to live from the spirit.  Christians who live from the flesh and do not yield to the Spirit statistically will not remain in Christ, for you cannot have a relationship with God in the flesh, for He is not flesh.

It’s your choice to live as a Christian, from the flesh or from the spirit, but your odds are not good in continuing in faith, the more the flesh is able to dominate. Flesh leads to sin and death. Flesh will never lead you to faith. This is why it is so important to follow Jesus words and example and be baptized into His death unto salvation, followed by baptism into the Holy Spirit, just as Jesus the man was.

Teach me to do Your will,

For You are my God;

Let Your good Spirit lead me on level ground. Ps 143:10

Blessings
