Would You Have Hated Him?

Many, many people hated Jesus when He came into His calling and ministry. He confronted men and women with their sin, in love, but showing them their lifestyles, their motives, their thoughts, that were far from God and therefore many hated Him for it.

It’s no different today. People less and less are seeking God through church. Feeling judged, seeing it all as fantasy, dismissing it as a bunch of religion, or simply not seeing the need, and yes, many turning to hate of the church. As darkness and sin; lifestyles that are opposite of the way God created us  imposed upon us, the hate is going to grow, just as it did when Jesus was here. All because people, rather than turning to Him for the answers and being thankful for Truth and His power to find it, they grasp their sin even stronger, until it turns to hate for anyone who disagrees with them. No, tolerance is not allowed in Satan’s kingdom, nor in Gods! You must choose sides, one or the other, for God hates luke warm lives. This is the reason people in sin will be led to hate and people who know Truth will learn more and grow stronger in their love and stronger in their stance for Truth. This is the reason in Ancient Rome, families, sent to the arena to be devoured by wild animals for their beliefs, could go without resistance, void of hate, and full of love. For they knew it would be over soon and they would be with the One that saved them.

Tolerance for sin will lead to hate because it’s choosing the wrong side! Jesus came to show us our desperate need for Him. He came to show us our separated state from Him. He came to show us not to be tolerate, but rather to side with Him so that He could restore us to the Father. That is love, not the love we hear touted today that chooses sin and separation from God. That’s self love!

How tolerant are you?

Peter and the other apostles replied: ‘We must obey God rather than men!’” (Acts 5:29).

Jesus came to END the conflict between God and man. Would you have hated Him?

Blessings
