He Came

I sat down with my coffee and opened Instagram. The first picture was a naked man on all fours with his face and rear blurred but you could sure see enough! He was on a table in what appeared to be the House or Senate room. I wanted to throw the phone!!!! It has tried to ruin my day! That picture will be in my mind for days. It was a news story by Breitbart News. The headline said: “Graphic Video: Senate Staffer Caught Filming Gay Sex Tape in Senate Hearing Room.” This gay staffer was filming evidently to distribute to a group called Gay in Politics.”

It’s hard to keep our minds on Jesus when we are bombarded on every hand with images such as these! How can a young person make it today in this world? This picture upset me to no end, and affects my mood, my view of life! What does it do to a child, a teenager? And this is news people! I have to pray about this, giving this to the Lord. Ask Him to deal with what I saw and get my mind back on Him. People we are in trouble!

Then today, (two days later) I open my phone and see the head line “Pope says priests can bless same-sex unions, requests should not be subject to moral analysis”.

Christmas is all about a Savior coming to earth to save us FROM sin, not bless us and comfort us IN sin! There is no joy and peace in sin. You cannot commit these acts and have peace with God!!! Jesus became a man to become one of us, to pay for us, what we couldn’t pay for ourselves and the ultimate goal was to reconcile us back to God, which He was!

Pray for these people. Pray for this Pope, who is in religion. He needs salvation. Salvation and restoration back to God, through the shed blood of the Lamb.

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God Rom 3:23

For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. Rom 5:10
