Is It Just Me?

Is It Just Me?

I remember in my day, the big thing was to play records backwards, and certain albums would have satanic sayings when played backwards. At slumber parties (which today I would NEVER allow my child to attend) we played Ouigi Board, Light as a Feather Stiff as a Board, but here’s the thing, those thinks scared me!!!! I knew it was evil without anyone telling me.

Today what I hear from parents and grand parents is a down right rebellion against God. 13 year olds that refuse to say the blessing and do not want to go to church. Young teens laughing through truly terrifying horror movies. I really don’t get it. But could it be due to Hollywood and especially the infiltration of evil in the music industry? Taylor Swift and her demonic world wide tour, and I mean that in a truth as she performs some kind of witchcraft ceremony on stage in her act with demons present? Or how about Doja Cat, with her explicate escapades as a demon, making love to a demon? Yes, this is what your kids, your grand kids, their parents and grandparents are watching and finding so entertaining.

Now, to top it off, the renowned Walker Art Center in Minnesota is teaching young children and their parents how to summon demons. Yes, you read that right! Wow! Everyone seems to be getting on the demon train!

Families at the art center are invited to create a vessel to trap the demon in, that knows you the best. Then in a “playful ceremony” they summon that demon and befriend them. According to a quote from their website, “ Demons, have a bad reputation, but maybe we’re just not very good at getting to know them. Lilit, the Empathetic Demon will come from the darkside of the moon to lead you in locating your feelings, using ancient Babylonian techniques.” And this, “This collective and playful demon, summoning session will conclude with a somatic movement meditation, designed to help you befriend your shadows.” I’m assuming the “shadows” are the demons that appear in their rooms at night. (Listen to The Haunted Cosmos episode 4, Sleep Paralysis and the Man in the Hat, link attached).

So, is it just me that finds this stuff devilish and scary, or is this the sign of the times, the great apostasy that Jesus spoke of? A time when even young children will hate God? I’ll let you decide. 2 Thess 2:3; 1 Tim 4:1-3; Math 25:12; 2 Tim 4:2-4; Rev 3:4-23
