What's Needed

Of corse we are to go out into the highways and byways and look for the hurting, but as technology increases and everyone’s lives are more and more isolated; as fear of the next round of Covid, further isolates, the ability to find the hurting and reach them are becoming more narrow paths. So is there still a need for the church? A Holy Ghost hospital? Oh yes!!! I watch sermons and teachings on-line and get a lot out of it, but it’s still not the same as being there! God made us for one another and there is something about the smiles of your loved ones, the precious hug from a friend, who you know loves and cares about you.

The church was God’s idea and we should never abandon it. It should forever serve as a Holy Ghost hospital. A place filled with trained professionals that see behind the eyes of pain. People who have answers, because they to at one time came into that Holy Ghost hospital ER and a believer laid down beside them and gave them a transfusion of hope in Jesus Christ.

Yes, the methods may be changing, but the place is still needed and God knows how to get the sick, the wounded and the dying there, before it’s too late. Thank the Lord for the church, for believers who still enjoy the oneness, the closeness, the encouragement, the teaching and training. And when they stumble upon one out there, or one falls through those doors in desperation for life, someone is there.

“Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see THE Day approaching.” Heb 10:23-25

They went to church while fearing for their lives. Does Covid or any other excuse, make it any different?

Blessings
