LISTEN TO JOSHUA AARON'S SONG, DAVID DANCED
https://youtu.be/d5WRNQVgAoo
Won’t You Dance?
You know I so love the story of David dancing shamelessly before the Lord. David was just a Sheppard boy, chosen by God himself to be King of Israel. He had no formal education. He had no mentor. Saul, the first king who preceded him, consistency tried to have him killed! David learned everything he learned out in the wilderness with the sheep and then later, on the job.
As king, David knew all his life’s appointments, all his successes and victories, he knew were from God Almighty’s hand upon his life, so one day, ditching his kingly attire, covered only in a loin cloth, David unashamedly danced in the streets, before all his subjects in praise to the Lord.
David knew he was but a man.
David knew he had nothing but the Lord. And David knew that even being King could not compare. This knowledge and this deep love drove him to this humble act. An act of pure unadulterated love. A love with not an ounce of embarrassment or shame. Just a man, expressing his deep love for his Savior.
Read the story in 2 Samuel Chapter Six today and fall so in love with Him that no man alive, no fear, no doubt, no questioning, no shame, no embarrassment, no pride, could not keep you from dancing before your great Lord.
