Enough is Enough

Enough Is Enough

Will God ever say “Enough is enough?” Yes, He will and yet God has placed the destiny of the earth and His creation on a Devine time line. The Bible is patterns, parallels, pictures and types, with the Biblical Feast Days being a dress rehearsal for prophetic events. Like important dates on a calendar, with Israel being the ticking clock. Nothing will deviate God from His set time, but a day will come in every life, as if marked on their own internal calendar, a day of reckoning.

That day comes at all ages, in all types of circumstances, but it always comes. One person years ago I remember, growing up going to church a good bit, and getting away from the Lord, going into deep sin as many young people do, but this time, confronted with their sin and relinquishing it to Jesus and knowing and feeling a demon left them! For a few years, they lived in peace and excitement for Jesus, but then walked away for good, now blatantly denying Him. Many others I can think of who have lived out this same scenario, and yet some I watched, be sold out to their Lord.

“If it is disagreeable in your sight to serve the Lord, CHOOSE for yourselves today whom you will serve: whether the gods which your fathers served which were beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living; but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” Jos 24:15

It is disagreeable to some to be sold out to the Lord, and He certainly gives you the ability to choose.

“How much worse punishment, do you think, will be deserved by the one who has trampled underfoot the Son of God, and has profaned the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and has outraged the Spirit of grace?” Heb 10:29

But why do you reject the very One that made you, loves you, adores you, has good plans for you and longs to reward you greatly when your time here is complete? Why do you continue in sin and partake in the things the world says are entertaining and fun, that God warns will rob your soul of peace, joy and eternal life.

Yes, God allows everyone to get a good dose of the world before calling you to Himself, to reckon your life’s books, and when He does, you must decide right then. You must choose! Unfortunately, too many choose to continue to go their own way and those are turned over to a reprobate mind, and rightly so. They made their own choice. And yet you cry, “That’s not fair! If God is love….” What one of you can force your child to love you? What one of you would force them to love you if you could? Love sets free in hopes that it will come back. And if it does, how sweet is that love.

When your day comes, don’t say no! There is NOTHING worth staying here for and it flies by anyway! Don’t allow the enemy of your soul to forever destroy you. There is simply nothing here worth trading your soul for. Choose right, when your time comes.

Blessings
