You Must Decide

Niki Cruz in his book, Devil on the Run, tells of a night in his home country of Puerto Rico. He was sound asleep when suddenly he was painfully kicked in the ribs and violently thrown to the floor. It was around mid-night and as he leaped to his feet, believing that an attacker was in the room, only to find no one there! In pain and recognizing a disgusting odor -“a nasty stench that I recognized from my fathers seances. And I knew no mortal had kicked me.”
This made me think of what Paul instructed in 1 Cor 5:5 “To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.”
Why would Paul give this instruction? Because, I believe someone who has opened themselves up to Satan is now no fool! They know without doubt that Satan is real. But especially in America, where in most cases, we have not been confronted or raised in and around the demonic and the occult, although it is perpetrating our society today, like never before.
For luke-warm Christians, who have never really battled Satan, but won’t totally surrender to Christ, not understanding the truth Jesus spoke of concerning being luke-warm, 2 Tim 3:5, for one foot in Satan’s world and one foot in Christ, won’t last. So by turning over someone in the Spirit to Satan, they are now going to be faced with an evil that is undeniable. They will be forced out of their luke-warm state and will not be able to stay there. A decision must be made. Follow Satan or follow Christ. There’s no in between.
The next day at the airport, a stranger walked up to Niki, a young woman, with an angry look and said, “How did you like that warning I gave you last night?” Realizing she knew and what he was dealing with, he openly rebuked her out-loud, calling “In the name of Jesus”! She snarled her hatred as she retreated.
What will it take for you to decide?
Blessings
