The Effigy's

The Effigy’s

Did you know there are said to be more than 200 known Effigy Mounds all over the US! Many having been destroyed over the years. Here is the definition: an effigy mound is a raised pile of earth built in the shape of a stylized animal, symbol, religious figure, human, or other figure.

These particular types of mounds are only found in the Northern and Eastern US, always near water and always on a ridge or high place and always having celestial alignments! Many not recognizable EXCEPT by air. Let that sink in!

Look, some of you are not aware of their existence, such as the Great Serpent Mound or the Cahokia Mound. These are large mounds said originally to have been built by “a cosmic array of peoples-Phoenicians, Vikings, or even perhaps a lost tribe of Israel,” until The Government owned Smithsonian laid it to rest for us.
“European explorers began arriving in the late 1600s. The fur trade among the Indians, French, British, and later Americans continued into the mid-1800s. The region saw a big influx of American settlers starting in the 1840s. Land with mounds was logged, plowed, and turned into farmland. In the early 1700s, many held that technologically advanced cultures from the Middle East, China or Europe had built the mounds, but Smithsonian institution research in the 1880s showed that the mound builders were prehistoric American Indians.

I’m so glad the government run Smithsonian has solved this intriguing puzzle for us! Now I can rest in the fact that the Cahokia Mounds (80 mounds currently, 120 originally, over 6 sq miles.) it is said, “The city’s complex construction of earthen mounds required digging, excavation and transportation by hand using woven baskets. Construction made use of 55 million cubic feet of earth. And much of the work was accomplished over a matter of decades, which extended from 1050 to 1350 CE.”

So American Indians were able to clear numerous trees, many on high hills, overlooking rivers, position them according to the sun, moon and stars, only recognizable by air, and move such massive amounts of dirt that the mounds have lasted for thousands of years? Give this some thought and check the sources of the majority of information available.

Go out of the US and check out one of the 7 Wonders of the World, the stones of Machu Picchu or how about the forgotten stones of Baalbeck, Lebanon? The forgotten stones of Baalbeck is “The largest worked monolith on earth, weighing in at a staggering 1242 tons. It is even heavier than the stone of the Pregnant Woman which is is an estimated 1000 tons, that sits on the other side of the road and the quarry. Neither of these stones made it to the main temple of Jupiter 900 m to the Northeast. That 400 ton and 800 ton stones did make their way to the temple, and were raised 20 feet in the air and were placed with machine like precision into the foundation of this mighty agent complex.”

There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown. Gen 6:4

Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. Eph 2:2-4
