Like the cruise ship with sharks following, Satan is out in the waters of life, waiting to devour. Sharks of transgenderism, homosexuality, drunkenness, gluttony, adultery, fornication, violence, sex-trafficking, and every sin that is waiting to devour you and separate you from the love of Jesus.
Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego had the exact same problem. The culture, the king was in sin and pushing sin on them and all his people, just as Biden is doing. The king worshiped others gods and he was full of himself! He worshipped himself and he wanted everyone in his kingdom to jump overboard into the shark invested waters of sin with him and deny God. He wanted everyone to participate in his own sin, the way he thought things should be.
These 3 Hebrew men, now political leaders in Nebuchadnezzar’s regime, were forced to decide. Stay on the cruise-ship or jump into the water with the rest of society. Oh, the waters of compromise looked good! They were told their lives would be saved, just by jumping overboard. But these 3 decided to stay on the ship! The ship caught on fire, but Jesus was walking amongst the fire with the three men!
“….and they set aside the kings command and yielded their BODIES rather than serve or worship any god except their own God.” Dan. 3:28
They yielded their bodies, choosing to stay in the ship. Think about it.
