Tossed With The Wind

People are so easily tossed with the wind and then gone. Living a lifetime and never coming to the knowledge of the truth. Philosophizing in their own heads about life and its meaning. Vain imaginations that lead to no where.

Paul and Barnabas were in Greece amongst philosophers and idol worshipers. They were telling the people about Jesus and Acts 14:1 says many believed, but in verse 2 unbelieving Jews come on the scene preaching their views and “embittered their minds against the brethren”.

The Lord healed a paralyzed man through Paul and now they worshipped Paul and Barnabas as gods! Vs 19 the disgruntled Jews come back on the scene speaking their philosophies and now these same people who were worshipping these men as gods, after seeing a real miracle, are now stoning them, with the intent to kill!

The scene is chaos! It so reminds me of today. Our society is full of hopelessness. People, even Christians are being blown in the wind of modern philosophy. Swept away for eternity, from Truth (Jesus).

Ephesians 4:14 KJV: That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive.

STOP philosophizing! STOP relying on modern whims and modern thought. Determine TODAY to know THE Truth! It’s up to you. You are the only one that can find it. You are the only one that can live it. You are the only one that will rejoice, that you found it. And the reward to only you is eternal life with the Father. No one can do it for you.

TODAY, stop being tossed to and fro and ask God to help you find THE Truth. He will!
