Grace

We had an awesome Preppers (posted on Facebook 5/11/23) and God moved in lives, setting people free from “why”.

I had to leave to attend to some pressing business and met my husband at a UPS store to get something notarized. When I walked in a lady with a Cain and a stack of papers was headed for the door. I went through the door last and would have held the door but she veered toward a shelf of products and I thought she wasn’t coming out. Of course this is all being processed in my mind in fractions of seconds. I went in determined, focused on the task at hand, making the decision not to hold the door. Well, she didn’t stop at the shelf of products, she headed for the door that I was now long past and she said with a snarky, sarcastic voice, “Thank you!” I turned around to see who she was talking to and it was ME! I felt horrible!!!! In that fraction of a second, I judged the situation wrong, and offended this lady! I stood there talking to the Lord, telling Him, “You know I didn’t mean it…” and asking for His help. A few minutes later she came back in to my amazement! I thought it a gift from God so that I could clear my conscious. I walked up to her and told her I was so glad she came back in and tried to explain my carelessness. She accepted it a little cooley, but then said “apology accepted.”

I’m asking the Lord to help me be more attentive and more caring. The world may be going to pot, but I don’t have to go along with it and in dealing with people, let’s show Grace, which is Jesus, because you don’t know that someone did something on purpose and even if they did, the Lord commands us to forgive. Let’s show the same Grace for others that He shows for us.

Satan tried to steal my joy and my peace. In a slit second, everything changed. But my great God made a way for me to fix it. My conscious was clear, and I was able to move on.

Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you. Eph 4:32

If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all. Rom 12:18

Blessings
