"The favor of a king is valued so highly that he who has it considers his fortune made. But how much greater is it to be thought about by the King of kings! If the Lord thinks of us, all is well, and we may rejoice evermore." Spurgen
Psalm 139:17 How precious are thy thoughts unto me, O God.
We don't have a king, but have you watched or read history where a country had a king? The kings court was made up of the kings "friends". People he trusted and they would live in the palace with him. A king was for life, so truly if you were in good with the king, you were set!
My mind reeled when I read that! If I live in the palace ALL my ends are provided for and luxuriously at that! I am protected by the king's guards and soldiers. I have fellowship with others who are in with the king. I have it made!
To know the King of kings is far greater! He provides all my needs. He protects me with his royal angels. He even advices me daily, to ensure my success through the Paraclete, the Holy Spirit, the One who draws alongside.
He has not only extended His scepter to You for approach, He says, "If you come in the name of my Son, you are welcome into My home!"
Mediate on this thought today. for YOU have the favor of the King!
