Can’t I Go To Church In My Neighborhood?

No, you really can’t, and no, you really never could. But today we have pastors who are mad at the church and preach “Get waisted and praise Jesus”! And no, I’m not making that up! We have whole denominations teaching that when Jesus said “It was finished”, that sin was forgiven and now you can sin all you want because it is forgiven. Read Romans chapter 6 for the clear rebuttal of that notion.

There are a lot of churches that are religious, but are very wrong, following the wrong Jesus. You may have to drive that distance to the Truth, but isn’t the Truth what’s in question? We have a member driving 2 hours one way!

I heard someone say it’s like getting the address for your friend John Doe, showing up, knocking on the door and it’s the wrong John Doe! Right name but wrong address.

Ask the prospective church two questions to see where they are. 1) explain Cain and Abel and 2) was Paul talking before or after his conversion in Romans chapter 7? Those two things will tell you pretty much all you need to know about a church. And you could throw in 3) Do you believe homosexuality is a sin.

Wrong answers, wrong address. These are the churches that Jesus says He stands at the door and knocks to be let in, because He is on the outside. Read it I. Context. Without the whole text, it’s a con!
